
GMR School of Aviation, RMIT sign MoU to enhance aviation education

GMR School of Aviation & GMR Aero Academy partner with RMIT to offer specialized aviation education programs.
GMR School of Aviation and GMR Aero Academy, Hyderabad, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). The collaboration aims to address the increasing demand for specialised training and professional education in the aviation industry.
Under the agreement, the institutions will jointly develop a range of academic programmes, including diplomas, degrees, credit transfers, and specialised courses tailored for students and professionals. These programmes will focus on key areas such as aviation and airport safety, security, operations, cargo management, and customer experience. The partnership also includes the design and delivery of Bachelors and Masters programmes specialising in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, along with opportunities for internships and job placements, said a release.
“By developing training programmes that align with industry demands, we aim to foster a highly skilled workforce capable of navigating an increasingly complex and competitive industry,” said Ashok Gopinath, president and accountable manager, GMR Aero Academy and GMR School of Aviation.
