External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar to visit U.S. from December 24-29 for high-level discussions and meetings.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will be on a six-day visit to the United States from December 24, 2024, said Ministry of External Affairs on Monday (December 23, 2024).
Mr. Jaishankar will be travelling to the U.S. ahead of the President-elect Donald Trump inauguration.
It will be the first high-level visit from India to the U.S. after Donald Trump won the presidential election.
“External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will visit the United States of America from December 24-29,” the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.
“He will be meeting counterparts to discuss key bilateral, regional and global issues,” it said in a brief statement.
The Ministry of External Affairs said Mr. Jaishankar will also chair a conference of the Consul Generals of India in the U.S
