Railways to revise composition of 20829/20830 Durg-Visakhapatnam-Durg Vande Bharat express to run with 8 car coaches from Jan 24.
The composition of train no. 20829/20830 Durg-Visakhapatnam-Durg Vande Bharat express is being revised by the railways. The train will run with eight car coaches instead of 16 car coaches with effect from January 24.
The revised composition of 20829/20830 Durg-Visakhapatnam-Durg Vande Bharat express would be One Executive Chair car coach and Seven Chair Car coaches with effect from January 24 in both the directions, according to Senior Divisional Commerical Manager K. Saandeep.
Over 15 years after notifying the Bangalore Palace Grounds land for widening the traffic-heavy Ballari Road and Jayamahal Road, the Karnataka government has decided to drop the proposal to acquire the palace land. The reason cited is that the Transferable Development Rights (TDR) value fixed by the Supreme Court has made the acquisition unviable.
