Draymond Green trolls Suns rival Jusuf Nurkic over suspension
NY Post
The long-standing feud between Draymond Green and Jusuf Nurkic has taken another turn.
Nurkic received a three-game suspension for getting into a fight with Naji Marshall during the Phoenix Suns’ game against the Dallas Mavericks in late December.
For whatever reason, Green hadn’t addressed this on his podcast, “The Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis,” until now.
But, of course, Green didn’t hesitate to start poking fun at Nurkic’s behavior and drawing parallels to their own heated history.
“I didn’t quite understand it,” Green said of the altercation. “He just out of nowhere picked an argument and then swung. I hope that brother got the help he needs. Something’s wrong to just go back and swing like that.”
The incident unfolded when Nurkic, called for an offensive foul, confronted Marshall and took an open-handed swing at his head.
