Azeez Ojulari inks one-year deal with Eagles as ex-Giant follows the Saquon Barkley plan
NY Post
It will be understandable if Giants fans fear the worst after seeing on Monday that edge rusher Azeez Ojulari will now be rushing the passer for the Eagles.
Ojulari, who turns 25 in June, went to the Super Bowl champions on a one-year deal for $4 million.
Already shell-shocked after Saquon Barkley left the Giants and had one of the greatest seasons for a running back in NFL history, it is likely that many fans of the Giants will now be figuring Ojulari will come up with a 10-plus sack season in Philadelphia.
The Eagles struck gold with Zack Baun, a nondescript linebacker for four years with the Saints, who turned into a star in 2024 and played his way into a return to Philly, cashing in with a three-year, $51 million contract.
Is a similar ascension in the cards for Ojulari?
He was the Giants’ 2021 second-round pick and his four-year career has been something of a tease.
