The Capital recorded 28 fresh COVID-19 cases and zero deaths on Sunday, according to a health bulletin released by the Delhi government.
The bulletin said 63,302 tests had been conducted with a positivity rate of 0.04%. The death toll stands at 25,085.
The city now has 387 active cases, of which 130 patients are in home isolation.
More than 2.6 lakh village and ward volunteers in Andhra Pradesh, once celebrated as the government’s grassroots champions for their crucial role in implementing welfare schemes, are now in a dilemma after learning that their tenure has not been renewed after August 2023 even though they have been paid honoraria till June 2024.
