Atishi launches crowdfunding campaign for Delhi Assembly election expenses, urging support from people across the country.
Delhi Chief Minister and senior AAP leader Atishi launches a crowdfunding campaign to meet expenses to fight the Delhi Assembly election.
“Today, I’m launching a crowd funding campaign for my election campaign from Kalkaji Assembly constituency. The ₹40 lakh I need to fight the election, I request the people of Delhi and all across the country to come and support me for it. With your support, I’ll fight the election from the Kalkaji Assembly constituency.,” she said while addressing a press conference.
“If we had taken money from big private schools then we will not have been able to fix the Delhi government schools. If we had taken money from private companies, we would not have been able to fix the Delhi government hospitals,” she said.

When reporters brought to her notice the claim by villagers that the late maharaja of Mysore Sri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar had gifted the land to them, Pramoda Devi Wadiyar said she is not aware of the matter, but sought to assure people that no effort will be made to take back the land that had been gifted by the late maharaja.
