A 42 kg cake cut in Tirupati to celebrate Nara Lokesh's 42nd birthday with TDP leaders and well-wishers.
A cake weighing 42 kg was cut at Alipiri in Tirupati to celebrate the 42nd birthday of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) general secretary and Minister for Education Nara Lokesh on Thursday.
Andhra Pradesh Sadhu Parishad honorary president Atluri Narayana Rao and president Srinivasananda Saraswati Swamy joined the party leaders and workers in the celebrations and wished Mr. Lokesh good health. “The change in government has come as a ray of hope for the unemployed youth of the State. Mr. Lokesh taking over the Education and IT portfolios has come as a guiding light for them”, the Swamy said.
Meanwhile, district TDP leaders led by Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) Chairman A. Ravi Naidu, former MLA M. Sugunamma, former TUDA Chairman G. Narasimha Yadav, city corporator R.C. Munikrishna and media wing coordinator Sridhar Varma broke coconuts at Alipiri and prayed for Mr. Lokesh’s health and longevity.
The event will run daily from 10 a.m. to 8.30 p.m., offering a variety of activities. Visitors can enjoy dance and music performances, hands-on art experiences, film screenings, and exhibitions from 10.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. These will feature folk cuisines, leather puppets, philately, textiles, and handicrafts.
