Boston Consulting largest recruiter at IIM Ahmedabad with 34 offers

IIM Ahmedabad's PGP 2025 Cluster 1 placement saw top firms recruiting in investment banking, consulting, and more.
Some 47 firms participated in the final placement process for first cluster at The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Boston Consulting Group was the largest recruiter with 34 offers.
The institute held final placement process for first cluster of PGP class of 2025 on January. The firms that participated in Cluster 1 comprised of six cohorts – investment banking and markets, management consulting, niche consulting, advisory consulting, cards and financial advisory, private equity, venture capital, and asset management.
The entire placement process was conducted in hybrid mode. Companies had the convenience of conducting the process virtually or physically. The institute saw a large pool of recruiters, with 47 firms participating in the process. Prominent recruiters in the management consulting cohort included regular recruiters such as BCG, McKinsey, Kearney, Accenture Strategy, Monitor Deloitte, Simon-Kucher, EY Parthenon, Deloitte, PwC and KPMG.
Prominent recruiters in the Investment Banking and Markets space included Avendus Capital, Moelis, HSBC, with the highest offers in Investment Banking made by Goldman Sachs (8). The PE and VC domain saw an uptick, with the participation of firms like General Atlantic, Everstone, Elevation Capital, Arga Investment. American Express rolled out 15 offers, highest in the cards and financial advisory cohort.
Firms such as Transformation X (Dubai) and Arthur D Little (Riyadh) rolled out international placement opportunities for the student pool. Placements for clusters 2 and 3 will be held on February 3 and 6 February, 2025 respectively
