149 referred to Prosecution for not wearing masks

Doha: The designated authorities referred 149 people to the Prosecution for not committing to wearing of masks. 

The measures are in line with the Cabinet decision on gradually lifting Covid-19 restrictions, all citizens and residents must continue to wear masks in closed public places. 

However, wearings masks are not obligated in open public places except when visiting organized public activities in markets, exhibitions, and during events. Masks are also required on the premises of mosques, schools, universities, and hospitals.
