Wipro Limited to expand its campus in Hyderabad, creating 5,000 jobs
Wipro Limited has announced expansion of its campus in Gopanapally, Financial district of Hyderabad. This would generate 5,000 direct and indirect jobs. The announcement was made after Rishad Premji, executive chairman of Wipro Limited, met with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu at the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual conference 2025 in Davos, Switzerland. The new IT centre would be set up in two to three years.
Mr. Reddy welcomed Wipro’s expansion and said that the government is committed to extend necessary support to such leading corporations.
Mr. Premji said that they are excited to partner with Telangana to promote new innovations and create new opportunities. The IT and Industries Minister urged the corporation to partner with Telangana’s in various skill development programmes, including Young India Skills University.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday announced that from the next financial year, a market system for organic products will be implemented in Karnataka’s Agricultural Produce Market Committees (APMC). He was speaking at the inauguration of the International Trade Fair - Organics and Millets 2025.
