Whoopi Goldberg Clocks JD Vance Over His 'Disconnected' Taylor Swift Take

"The View" co-host had a not-so-nice "thing to say" about Donald Trump's running mate for sharing his two cents on the pop star.
Whoopi Goldberg knocked Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) on Thursday for being one of “many snowflakes” upset by Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris.
“The View” co-host noted that Republicans aren’t pleased with the pop star, who backed Harris and signed her social media post as “Childless Cat Lady” following Tuesday’s debate, before tossing to a clip of Donald Trump’s running mate giving his two cents on Swift.
“We admire Taylor Swift’s music but I don’t think most Americans — whether they like her music, or [are] fans of hers or not — are going to be influenced by a billionaire celebrity who I think is fundamentally disconnected from the interests and the problems of most Americans,” said Vance in the Fox News clip from Wednesday.
He continued, “When grocery prices go up 20%, it hurts most Americans. It doesn’t hurt Taylor Swift. When housing prices become unaffordable, it doesn’t affect Taylor Swift or any other billionaire.”
Goldberg, in response to the clip, declared that Vance doesn’t know “what affects her” and doesn’t know about “her money.”
