Last week, Curry's great-granddaughter and caretaker asked the public for help finding the retired actor, who lived in the Altadena suburb of Los Angeles.
Actor Dalyce Curry has died at 95, a victim of the wildfires that are currently ravaging the Los Angeles area.
Curry’s great-granddaughter and caretaker, Dalyce Kelley, shared the sad news in a Facebook post on Sunday.
“About an hour ago the coroner confirmed her remains were indeed found at the property. #RIPMOMMADEE 🕊️,” Kelley wrote. “We had a great run. She impacted my life in so many ways. This loss is devastating.”
Kelley’s message came days after asking for the public’s help finding her relative, whose Altadena home was destroyed by the Eaton Fire.
“My grandmothers house burned down has anyone seen MOMMA DEE,” Kelley shared on Facebook last week. “At the shelter searching a third time. Not here.”
