The water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Tuesday stood at 122.10 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 519 cusecs and a discharge of 1,200 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 52.03 ft. (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 788 cusecs and a discharge of 819 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 4,108.65 mcft. Thekkadi recorded 4 mm and Mullaperiyar dam 1.6 mm rainfall in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
