Debut director Varsha Bharath discusses her award-winning film 'Bad Girl' and her experiences in Tamil cinema.
Debutant director Varsha Bharath, whose ‘Bad Girl’ is making waves, is just back from the International Film Festival of Rotterdam, where her film won the NETPAC Award.
In an interview to The Hindu, she talks about working on the film, developing the characters, the talk surrounding its teaser and working with Vetrimaaran and Anurag Kashyap. Varsha also speaks about her experiences as an assistant director, wanting more women in Tamil cinema and why she loves to be on a film set.
