Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA N. Eswara Rao on Thursday said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee had put India on the path of development during his tenure as Prime Minister. On the occasion of ‘Good governance Day’, BJP in association with several organisations organised a meeting in Srikakulam to recall the contribution of the former Prime Minister to the nation.
Speaking as the chief guest, Mr. Eswara Rao said that Vajpayee brought revolution in road network, automobile, telecom, oil and gas supply and industries in the country. BJP Srikakulam district president Birlangi Umamaheswara Rao said that he taught neighbouring country Pakistan a lesson through the Kargil war, which showcased India’s military strength.
BJP senior leaders Pudi Tirupati Rao, Attada Ravibabji, representatives of various organisations including Gunta Tulasi Rao, Siripuram Tejeswara Rao and K.Ammannaidu and others were present.
