UCQ celebrates graduation of 158 nursing students

Doha: The University of Calgary in Qatar (UCQ) hosted a virtual ceremony recently to mark the official graduation of the classes of 2020 and 2021.
The virtual convocation celebrated the achievements of 158 nursing students, including bachelors and masters, and was held online to ensure that all COVID precautions were implemented, while an inclusive experience was maintained for all. The virtual convocation was attended by Deborah Yedlin, Chancellor of the University of Calgary, Dr. Edward McCauley, President and Vice-Chancellor as well as Dr. Robin Yates, Dean and Vice-Provost, Graduate Studies. In addition to the honorary guest Dr. Mariam Nooh Al-Mutawa; Acting Deputy Chief Nursing Officer at Hamad Medical Corporation, who also serves as a member of the university’s Academic Council.More Related News
