Minister for Housing and Urban Development S. Muthusamy and Minister for Tourism R. Rajendran have been deputed to these districts, an official source said.
The Chief Minister enquired about the impact of the rains and the relief measures being undertaken in these districts with their respective Collectors. Mr. Stalin left for Villupuram district on Monday (December 2, 2024), where Cyclone Fengal has had a major impact.

The Karnataka government has drafted a comprehensive master plan for the integrated development of Kukke Subrahmanya temple, the State’s highest revenue-generating temple managed by the Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Department. The redevelopment initiative is estimated to cost around ₹254 crore and aims to enhance infrastructure and facilities for devotees.
