
Children advised to maintain physical fitness at walkathon in Visakhapatnam

Divine Touch School walkathon promotes fitness and gratitude with Police Commissioner as chief guest at Ramakrishna Beach.
A walkathon was organised by the Divine Touch School to promote physical fitness, apart from inculcating gratitude in children, at Ramakrishna Beach, here on Sunday.
Police Commissioner Shanka Brata Bagchi, who participated as the chief guest, told the children about the importance of waking up early and maintaining physical fitness. School principal Nitaisevini described the event as a “Gratitude Walk.” She encouraged the students to cultivate a heart full of gratitude. “Gratitude is the highest virtue that every student should embrace,” she said
The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, who enjoyed the walk.

The Karnataka government has drafted a comprehensive master plan for the integrated development of Kukke Subrahmanya temple, the State’s highest revenue-generating temple managed by the Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Department. The redevelopment initiative is estimated to cost around ₹254 crore and aims to enhance infrastructure and facilities for devotees.
