DMK leader and Nilgiris Lok Sabha MP, A. Raja, on Monday apologised for his recent remarks against Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami, but reiterated that his words were “taken out of context.” Mr. Raja held a press meet in Udhagamandalam responding to the furore sparked by his remarks during electioneering, when he likened Mr. Palaniswami’s emergence as a leader to a “premature birth,” compared to DMK president M. K. Stalin, who had risen through the party ranks in a “proper way.”More Related News
