After plummeting in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, strep throat infections skyrocketed in February 2023 and remain elevated, according to a report from Epic Research.

"In February, strep cases were 30% higher than the previous peak seen in 2017." "The recent assault of viruses, including COVID-19, have weakened people’s immune systems."
