State government to sign MoUs for 35 projects today

The State government is expected to sign Memoranda of Understanding for 35 new projects, entailing investments worth over ₹17,000 crore, at an investment conclave in Chennai on Tuesday. Sources said the foundation stone for 9 projects would be laid by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on the occasion, besides the inauguration of five other projects. This will be the first series of MoUs to be inked by the two-month-old DMK government.More Related News

The Karnataka government has drafted a comprehensive master plan for the integrated development of Kukke Subrahmanya temple, the State’s highest revenue-generating temple managed by the Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Department. The redevelopment initiative is estimated to cost around ₹254 crore and aims to enhance infrastructure and facilities for devotees.
