Stalin inaugurates NielsenIQ’s new facility in Chennai

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Monday virtually inaugurated a new facility of NielsenIQ in Chennai, which will provide employment to 2,500 professionals in data science and analytics.
New York-headquartered NielsenIQ is among industry leaders in global measurement and data analytics and is among the trusted source for retail and consumer intelligence. The Chennai facility will be its largest among its offshore facilities across the world.
This Global Research Centre expansion will serve NielsenIQ’s present and future global needs, and it would employ 2,500 people in high-value jobs, such as data science and analytics, an official release said.
Minister for Industries Thangam Thennarasu, Chief Secretary V. Irai Anbu, NielsenIQ Chief Technology Officer Mohit Kapoor and senior officials were present.
