Sen. Jon Ossoff Shreds A Massive Trump Hypocrisy In 'Cruelty And Chaos'-Slamming Speech

The Georgia Democrat said the president's inner circle is "literally" what "they pretend to hate."
Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.) condemned President Donald Trump’s hypocrisy and the “cruelty and chaos” being inflicted by his administration at the “Rally for Our Republic” in Atlanta, Georgia, this weekend.
The senator’s remarks quickly went viral on social media.
Ossoff called out Trump’s populist messaging by flagging the vast wealth of his Cabinet, which is the wealthiest ever even without including tech billionaire Elon Musk, the special government employee that Trump has tasked with gutting public spending via the non-official Department of Government Efficiency.
“They are literally the elites they pretend to hate,” Ossoff said.
“The president is not at his palace in Florida thinking about whether you can afford daycare for your daughter or how to stop insurance companies from denying your claim, or anything that matters to our daily lives,” he continued. “When is the last time you even heard Donald Trump talk about health care or child care? He’s talking about invading Greenland.”
