Silambam, Parayattam, Thappattam, Bharatanatyam and Valli kummi kept the visitors engaged all through, District Tourism Officer T. Aravindkumar said. District Collector T. Christuraj presided over the event and also joined the performances, besides riding a bullock cart.
Wrestling and other traditional sports competitions were also conducted. Tiruppur City Corporation Mayor Dinesh Kumar took part along with a host of other dignitaries.
