Ron DeSantis Says Andrew Tate, Brother Tristan Aren't Welcome In Florida

The Trump administration may have pressured Romania into letting the alleged sex traffickers leave the country.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) has a message for Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate: You’re not welcome here.
The pair, who are dual British-U.S. citizens, unexpectedly had their travel restrictions lifted and promptly fled to Florida from Romania, where they have been charged with human trafficking.
DeSantis told reporters Thursday that “Florida is not a place where you’re welcome with that type of conduct” and expressed hope that James Uthmeier, the state’s attorney general, will “be able to deal with this.”
“I don’t know how it came to this,” DeSantis continued, distancing himself from Andrew Tate, an outspoken Donald Trump supporter and self-described “absolute misogynist.”
“We were not involved, we were not notified, I found out through the media that this was something that was happening,” he added.
