The revised timetable of metro rail line number one from Belapur to Pendhar in Navi Mumbai will be implemented from January 20, a CIDCO official said on Saturday (January 18, 2025).
Under the new timetable, trains will be available every 10 minutes during peak hours, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) said in a release.
"According to the revised timetable, metro services will now begin at 6 a.m. from Belapur and Pendhar stations. The last train from Belapur will depart at 10 p.m., while the final service from Pendhar will leave at 9:45 p.m. From Belapur, metro trains will run every 10 minutes between 7:30 a.m. and 10 a.m., and again from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. From Pendhar, the peak-hour frequency will be every 10 minutes from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., and from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.," it said.
Outside these peak hours, metro services will operate at intervals of 15 minutes, the CIDCO release added.
The line commenced operations on November 17, 2023, and plays a crucial role in providing seamless connectivity to Central Business District (CBD) Belapur, the Taloja Industrial area, and CIDCO's housing complexes.
