Qatar Cancer Treatment Center launched in Burkina Faso

Ouagadougou: Minister of State H E Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani, accompanied by highlevel delegation, and HE President of the Republic of Burkina Faso Rock Marc Christian Kaboré inaugurated a functional radiotherapy center in the city of Ouagadougou.
The project is funded by Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) in cooperation with the government of the Republic of Burkina Faso. The center’s mission is to enhance capabilities and improve the quality of cancer care in Burkina Faso, as well as to minimize seeking adequate treatment abroad and to reduce cancer-related deaths. The center is built on 3000 square meters of land. It is a 1,200 square meter building fully equipped with all necessary medical equipment. It also provides training to medical personnel to guarantee the best cancer treatment services.More Related News
