State Transport and Sports Minister emphasises prompt resolution of public grievances during Praja Durbar programmes for effective governance.
State Transport and Sports Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy called on the officials to promptly address grievances received during the Praja Durbar programmes without neglect.
Speaking at a public grievance meeting held at his residence at Boreddigari Palli in Chinnamandem mandal on Sunday, the Minister stressed the importance of timely action to resolve issues raised by the public.
Alleging that people of the Annamayya district faced hardships due to the negligence of the previous Jagan Mohan Reddy administration, Mr. Ramprasad Reddy said that the Praja Durbar initiative is a step towards improving governance and addressing public grievances. He stated that these programmes aim to create a direct channel between citizens and officials to ensure swift problem resolution.
The Minister urged revenue officials to focus on resolving land-related disputes, which were among the most pressing issues in the district. He directed them to handle minor land issues at the mandal-level and escalate unresolved cases to higher authorities, including the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) and Joint Collector, for necessary action.
The Minister promised that steps would be taken to permanently solve the land-related problems in the district. He called for full cooperation from revenue authorities in this endeavour to ensure long-term benefits for the people.
The Praja Durbar programme, he added, was a critical platform for identifying and resolving local issues, and officials must treat it as a priority.
