The Minister says the Kerala government is trying to find lasting solutions to all major problems in Kuttanad with people’s participation in the next four-and-a-half years
The State government is implementing development projects worth ₹745 crore in Kuttanad and nearby areas, Fisheries Minister Saji Cherian has said.
He was speaking at a high-level meeting convened to discuss issues pertaining to the Kuttanad region at the Rice Research Station, Mankombu, on Tuesday.
The event will run daily from 10 a.m. to 8.30 p.m., offering a variety of activities. Visitors can enjoy dance and music performances, hands-on art experiences, film screenings, and exhibitions from 10.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. These will feature folk cuisines, leather puppets, philately, textiles, and handicrafts.
