The government had identified places of pilgrimage for vaccination where by July-end vaccination is expected to be completed. Four pilgrimage towns of Tiruvannamalai, Nagore, Velankanni and Rameshwaram, had been chosen, State Health Minister Ma. Subramanian has said. He was speaking at the vaccination camp organised at St. Xavier’s School in Saidapet. The Christian community, including employees of the church, in the locality would be fully vaccinated as the church in the area is a pilgrimage place frequented by Christians from other districts, the Minister said.
