NASA's Mars rover deposited the first sample of rocks on the Red Planet's surface so that they could eventually return to Earth for further analysis.
The deposit is one of more than a dozen tubes that will be placed at the location – dubbed "Three Forks" – over the next two months. Bradford Betz is a Fox News Digital breaking reporter covering crime, political issues, and much more.
