Snehamayi Krishna, complainant in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) case in which the role of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his wife are being probed by the Lokayukta police, has alleged that he is under pressure to withdraw his demand seeking a CBI investigation.
The activist filed a complaint with the Lokayukta police here on Wednesday alleging that a few persons approached him and implored him to withdraw the demand for CBI investigation. Mr. Krishna said those who approached him offered him money for his ‘’cooperation’’ on December 13, 2024, at noon.
In his complaint to the Lokayukta police, Mr. Krishna said he flatly refused to accept their demands nor be lured by monetary considerations and sought an investigation into the antecedents of the persons who approached him, who were identified as Harsha and Srinidhi.
Mr. Krishna also alleged that the two had also approached his son and sought to bribe him if the demand for CBI case was withdrawn.
Describing the developments as ‘’serious’’, Mr. Krishna urged the Lokayukta police to launch an investigation and ascertain the antecedents of Harsha and Srinidhi. He submitted a CD containing the video of both Harsha and Srinidhi visiting his house in his absence to meet his son.
