Hospitality entrepreneur and MRG Group chairman K. Prakash Shetty has been chosen for the State-level Vandana award instituted by Rotary Club of Mangalore Central and Rotract Club of Mangalore City in recognition of his contributions in the field of hotel industry and in appreciation of his community service.

Award committee chairman Devdas Rai in a statement here said the award, comprising a citation, a plaque, and a memento would be presented to Mr. Shetty in the presence of Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Anupam Agrawal on March 28 at Hotel Moti Mahal at 8 p.m.
Rotary Club president Brian Pinto and others would attend the programme.
