MoI refers seven to prosecution for misuse of social media

Doha: Competent authorities at the Ministry of Interior referred seven individuals to Public Prosecution after using social media for spreading false news and inciting racial and tribal strife.

The ministry stated this in an arabic statement published on its social media.  The authorities at the Ministry of Interior found out the content published in their accounts and related to the subject of the accusation, and then referred them to the Public Prosecution to complete its procedures.
