The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series has arrived in India, redefining open-air luxury with its design and craftsmanship. This exclusive two-seater roadster blends the iconic SL silhouette with Maybach’s signature opulence, offering an unparalleled driving experience. With an aerodynamically sculpted body, a distinct chrome finish, and an upright Mercedes star on the bonnet, the SL 680 Monogram Series is designed to turn heads. Performance meets refinement in the SL 680 Monogram Series, thanks to its 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine. Delivering an impressive 585 hp and 800 Nm of torque, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds. The power is transmitted via a 9G automatic transmission, with the fully variable 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system ensuring superior traction and stability. The finely tuned suspension and rear-axle steering enhance agility, offering both, dynamic handling and supreme comfort.

Craftsmanship extends beyond performance to the car’s distinctive design and luxurious interior. The SL 680 Monogram Series is available in two specially curated exterior themes: Red Ambience features garnet red metallic and White Ambience with opalite white magno. The Maybach-specific illuminated grille, rose gold accents in the headlights and the finely crafted soft-top in light black with an anthracite Maybach pattern add to the vehicle’s exclusivity. Galvanised seat backrests, silver chrome trim and stainless-steel pedals further emphasize the car’s premium feel. The advanced MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system integrates seamlessly with the interior, featuring voice control and optional MBUX Augmented Video for enhanced functionality. A fully digital instrument cluster and an adjustable centre display with Maybach-specific animations complete the high-tech luxury experience.

Designed for effortless open-top motoring, the SL 680 Monogram Series also prioritises comfort and acoustics. The sound-optimised exhaust system ensures a refined driving atmosphere, while extensive insulation and soft engine mounts provide a smooth and quiet ride. The AIRSCARF system blows warm air around the neck area for an enjoyable drive even in cooler weather.

The SL 680 Monogram Series made its grand debut at a gala event in Udaipur, celebrating India’s status as the 10th largest market for Mercedes-Maybach globally. The unveiling underscored the growing affinity for ultra-luxury vehicles in the country, with Maybach models enjoying a strong customer base. Currently, only three units of this masterpiece have been designated for India. However, customer demand far exceeds this allocation, reflecting its immense desirability.
