Mercedes-Benz is seeing growing demand for its luxury Maybach cars in India which has emerged as one of the top 10 markets for the brand globally, said Daniel Lescow, head of Mercedes-Maybach, Mercedes-Benz Group AG.
“For more than a century, Maybach has been synonymous with uncompromising luxury and extraordinary craftsmanship. And the same is true for today’s Mercedes-Maybach models. India has become one of the most important markets globally for the brand,” said Daniel Lescow, Head of Mercedes-Maybach, Mercedes-Benz Group AG.
The luxury carmaker has further enhanced the range in the country by introducing the Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series, priced at Rs.4.2 crore (ex-showroom).
“With the launch of the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 we pay tribute to our discerning customers in India,” he said adding India would soon be the brand’s top five markets globally going by the acceptance in this market.
“The ultra-luxury segment remains our constant focus, drawing outstanding response from sophisticated customers in India.
The company has opened pre-order for this vehicle which will be delivered in January 2026. Only three cars have been allotted to the Indian market.
“With the launch of the all -new Mercedes-Maybach SL 680, we further deepen our commitment to offer the ‘world’s most desirable and exclusive’ vehicles to connoisseurs in India,” said Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.
