SFI State vice-president Basavaraj S. said that post implementation of the New Education Policy (NEP 2020), 22 universities had not distributed mark sheets, affecting the careers of over 50 lakh students. “Students are not getting marks cards even after the replacement of NEP by the State Education Policy by the government of Karnataka. Students are tired of visiting university offices repeatedly. The digitisation of offices has not helped,” he said.
SFI leader Ganesh Rathod said that NEP mandated both online and printed mark sheets, but there was no proper compliance. He sought the government’s intervention.
District president Nagaraj Itagi emphasised the need for immediate distribution of printed mark sheets to 51 lakh students, the cancellation of a unified online system for creation of marks cards, and investigation into financial misuse in mark sheet distribution.
