
Man dies in ATV crash in Conception Harbour

Police are investigating an ATV crash on the Avalon Peninsula that left one man dead.
In a news release, the RCMP say around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday the Holyrood RCMP detachment got a report of a crash in Conception Harbour from a driver who was passing by the scene.
"A motorist came upon the overturned ATV that was towing a trailer, resting in a ditch on the side of the road. The lone occupant of the ATV died at the scene," said the statement.
The unnamed man was 71-years-old.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is involved in the investigation.
