“Love Island USA” Season 6 isn’t just the best season of the franchise. It’s the best season of a dating reality show that we’ve seen in a long time.
The season finale, which aired July 21, crowned Serena and Kordell (aka Korean) as the winning couple, set to split $100,000, in voting by fans. And though many fans got their wish, what was probably most satisfying for “Love Island” newcomers and avid viewers alike was watching the messy, tearful, raw, triumphant, horny journey to the end.
With one of the most diverse casts in “Love Island USA” history, a slew of love triangles and “hot new bombshells” that made an impact and stuck around to the end, Season 6 was the perfect storm of drama. The viral social media conversations surrounding it and the ratings (doubled from previous seasons) are proof.
