The birth anniversary of AIADMK founder and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. G. Ramachandran was celebrated in Puducherry on Friday. Chief Minister N. Rangasamy, Deputy Speaker P. Rajavelou, Government whip A.K.D. Arumugham, AIADMK secretary A. Anbalagan, former AIADMK legislators Om Sakthi Segar and Vayyapuri Manikantan garlanded the statue of the late leader near the New Bus Stand. AIADMK workers took out a rally before garlanding the statue. Party had also organised programmes to distribute welfare assistance in various places in Puducherry.
