Late-night crash on Stoney Trail leaves 1 person dead

One person was killed in a crash on Stoney Trail late Tuesday night in northwest Calgary, according to police.
The crash happened around 11:50 p.m. on southbound Stoney Trail N.W. near the Nose Hill Drive interchange.
Police say one person was transported to hospital, where they later died.
The details of the crash remain under investigation.
