Director YVS Chowdhary introduces Kuchipudi dancer Veenah Rao as the female lead opposite NTR in his new Telugu film.
Director YVS Chowdhary, who had announced his new Telugu film in which he will be launching the fourth generation actor from the NTR family, the great grandson of legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, also named after him, recently announced the film’s female lead. Kuchipudi dancer Veenah Rao will make her debut as leading lady opposite NTR.
Veenah was introduced at a media gathering in Hyderabad in the presence of producers Supriya Yarlagadda and Swapna Dutt, who graced the event.
While the director stated that he was proud to introduce a Telugu-speaking female actor to the industry, Veenah revealed that she had been training for nearly 18 months for the film.
The Telugu film produced by Yalamanchili Geetha will have music by MM Keeravani, lyrics by Chandrabose and dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra.
In the past, YVS Chowdhary has introduced actors Ram Pothineni and Ileana D’Cruz, among several others, to Telugu cinema.
