KCBC president Cardinal Baselios Cleemis visits IUML State president Syed Sadikali Shihab Thangal to promote interfaith harmony in Kerala.
Kerala Catholic Bishops Council (KCBC) president Cardinal Baselios Cleemis visited Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) State president Syed Sadikali Shihab Thangal at his house at Panakkad near here on Friday.
He spent about one hour with Syed Sadikali and other family members at Panakkad. Cardinal Cleemis appreciated and offered support to Syed Sadikali’s efforts to cement communal camaraderie between Muslims and Christians in the State.
He underscored the importance of maintaining amity between Christians and Muslims, especially in the light of developments like Munambam issue.
Cardinal Cleemis also met IUML national general secretary P.K. Kunhalikutty at Panakkad.
