BJP State unit president B. Y. Vijayendra predicted that ‘major changes’ will take place in the ruling Congress in Karnataka in the next couple of months.
Addressing a press conference in Bengaluru on February 19, Mr. Vijayendra said the internal tussle in the ruling Congress and the government over the leadership issue had reached a crucial stage now.
“On the one hand, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah says Congress high command is supreme, he is a loyal worker of the party and abide by whatever decision is taken by the high command (on the leadership issue). On the other, his supporters have gone to Delhi and warned the high command of taking their own decision if the high command does not listen to them,” he claimed.
