His involvement, at the special invitation of Dr Shamsheer Vayalil, chairman and Managing Director of UAE-based VPS Healthcare, served as a tribute to the UAE’s 2025 ‘Year of Community 2025’ initiative launched by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to promote social responsibility and collective progress.
“In the UAE, President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed AL Nahyan has declared 2025 as the ‘Year of Community’. We initiated a community engagement event here in Kannur through Dr Shamsheer. I am happy to be here and look forward to running the next half marathon next year,” Mr. Marri said after completing the run.
