Kannada actor Shobitha Shivanna found dead in Hyderabad, investigation ongoing, contact Roshini suicide prevention helpline for support.
Popular Kannada film and television actor Shobitha Shivanna was found dead at her residence in Kondapur of Gachibowli on Sunday.
The incident came to light following a call to the Gachibowli police around 12 p.m. The police rushed to the spot. According to the police, on Sunday morning, Shobitha’s husband tried to knock on her door multiple times, but in vain. Finally, he broke open the door and found her hanging.
Shobhitha hailed from Sakleshpur in Karnataka’s Hassan district and has been residing in Hyderabad with her husband for the past two years. The reason for her death is yet to be ascertained. A case was booked, and the body was shifted to Osmania General hospital for post-mortem evaluation. The police said the body could be transported to Karnataka for the final rites.
