Josh Brolin Says He's Still 'Wigged Out' By Weird Exchange With Trump, 14 Years Later

The "No Country for Old Men" actor revisited a bizarre evening with Trump that still haunts him to this day.
Actor Josh Brolin admits he’s still “wigged out” by an awkward encounter he had with President-elect Donald Trump that took place about 14 years ago.
On the latest episode of “In Depth With Graham Bensinger,” Brolin recalled being invited to have dinner with Donald and Melania Trump at the 21 Club in New York in 2010. Also in attendance were fellow actor Shia LaBeouf and director Oliver Stone.
Though Brolin was light on specifics, he said Trump lent him $20 at some point during the meal. Afterward, the group retreated to the Trumps’ home, where the future president showed them where he watched New York’s World Trade Center fall following the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The evening took a head-scratching turn, however, when Brolin asked Trump if he could go upstairs, where the Trumps’ bedroom was located.
“I said, ‘Can I see upstairs?’ He said, ‘Yeah.’ And then nobody moved,” the “Dune” and “No Country for Old Men” actor recalled. “And I said, ‘Cool. So should we go up?’ And he said, ‘Yeah.’ And then he still didn’t move. And I’m thinking, ‘What the fuck is happening?’”
