Dakshina Kannada MP praises BJP victory in Delhi elections as a vote of confidence in PM Modi's development plan.
Dakshina Kannada MP Capt. Brijesh Chowta on Saturday, February 8, termed the Bharatiya Janata Party victory in the Delhi Assembly elections as people’s belief on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Viksit Bharat-Viksit Delhi’ plan.
Celebrating the party victory along with MLC Prathap Simha Nayak and party cadres at Belthangady, Capt. Chowta said, “Voters in Delhi have demolished the ‘Sheeshmahal’ built by the Aam Admi Party with ‘lies, deceit and corruption’ with their conclusive mandate.”
The MP attribute the victory to people’s confidence on Mr. Modi to get a corruption-free administration. During his campaign at Harinagar and Kasturba Nagar Assembly constituencies last week, he had personally felt a wave in favour of BJP, he said. Capt. Chowta added Delhi that was trailing in development for the last 27 years would now see tremendous development with a “double engine” government.
Former MP and former Karnataka BJP President Nalin Kumar Kateel termed the victory as the mandate against corruption and in favour of a corruption-free administration under the leadership of Mr. Modi.
BJP cadres in Udupi celebrated the Delhi victory in front of the party office at Kadiyali under the leadership of district unit president Kishore Kuamr Kundapura, MLA Yashpal Suvarna and others.
