Former Indian Ambassador to Armenia, Georgia, Sudan, Poland and Lithuania - Deepak Vohra said India was not just progressing but was leading with the potential to rule on the global stage, and students have a great responsibility and opportunity take keep the Indian flag flying high.
Mr. Vohra, who was addressing the students of Nalanda Educational Institutions, Vengal Rao Nagar after unfurling the Indian flag, elaborated on the Jambavan Effect, emphasising the importance of realising one’s inner potential.
Drawing inspiration from Indian mythology, he encouraged the students to harness their strengths and contribute significantly to India’s growth story. Instilling a sense of patriotism and responsibility in the young generation was in the hands of educational institutions, he said and asked them to produce students who are not only brilliant in their academics but also in dreaming of making India a better nation.
Appreciating the Nalanda Educational Institutions’s slogan “We Rule’, he said such a positive attitude would make a huge difference as students are now global citizens. Manthena Surya Raju, Director of the institutions said the students were exposed to various activities so that they end up torchbearers of the nation.
